Developed in the 1950's in New Zealand, Perendale sheep are a cross between Romney & Cheviot. The wool is bouncy and spins with a lot of spring. It's very white in color and has an average micron count of 28-35 with a staple length of 80-120mm. Very easy and fun to spin!
